On March 30, 2022 AIVC sent feedback to the European Commission’s Proposal for a Recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
The AIVC has put forward some elements to be taken into account by the European Commission. AIVC’s input to the EPBD revision, structured by remarks & proposals for amendments of the public consultation document, is available to read and download here.
On March 24th, June 9th, October 27th & December 15th,2020, Annex 80 scientists, practitioners, and planners as well as representatives from the building cooling associated industry gathered for 4 remote meetings of the Advisory Board of Practitioners. This board, an initiative of Annex 80, AIVC and venticool, was founded to put results of scientific research into action by establishing strong ties to practitioners and to include their practical experience in future research projects.
We are pleased to announce the release of AIVC's Technical Note no 69: 40 years to build tight and ventilate right: History of the AIVC. This report provides information about the history of AIVC, its events and publications, its member countries and board members and collaborations with other organisations.

The Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre and TightVent Europe are organizing the webinar "Inspection of ventilation systems in new regulations in European countries" to be held on November 30th, 2021 at 10:30-12:00 CET.
