Ozone has direct, and adverse effects on human health. It can initiate reactions that may produce irritating products. The authors present the results of their study on the influence of the reactions ozone-limonene on the perceived air quality (PAQ) . Six different realistic concentrations of ozone and limonene, separately or together were tested in four identical and adjacent offices. The results indicate that the PAQ was poor when ozone and limonene were present together whereas PAQ was better when only ozone or only limonene was present. The impact of filtration of ozone-limonene products on PAQ was examined too.
