The study was carried out to answer directive 91/2002 of the UE, transcribed in Romaniathrough the law 372/2005, which requires, inter alias, the regular inspection of the installations of airconditioning.Such an inspection requires a coherent system of measurement to characterize its capacity of effective operation. Our work relates to the centralized installations of air-conditioning and those decentralized, with ventilo-convectors. We classified measurements in two parts: general measures on the system (flows, sealing of the pipes, insulation) and measurements on the subsystems (CTA, parts air-conditioned, power station of cold etc). We chose on each level, measurements necessary to characterize operation. A detailed attention was given to measurements of the air flows in the conduits; the tests in laboratory showed that with a thorough data processing, we are able toobtain satisfactory results, with velocity measurements in a section that has three diameters onlyplaced after a bend or a junction. We also highlighted the simultaneous need to make measurements on the external climate and in various parts of the system, so that the data could allow the characterization of the system from the point of view of the response to the requests. To ensure the traceability and the reproducibility of measurements, we designed files such as type for each category of measured parameters.
