We first developed an actual HVAC experimental chamber including an air distribution system, an air handling unit, fan coil units, and control systems. This experimental chamber is a real size model of a typical office and has a floor area of 61.44m2. At the same time, we developed a "Numerical HVAC experimental chamber" that is, a computer model that can simulate our actual HVAC experimental chamber including its control system. This model consists of a numerical turbulent flow model and an automatic PID control model. In this paper, we describe the actual HVAC experimental chamber, the "Numerical HVAC experimental chamber" and some results from a simulation study using the "Numerical HVAC experimental chamber".
