BIB 03: An annotated bibliography: natural ventilation

The focus of this review is on natural ventilation strategies and systems, highlighting design features and associated research. It outlines relevant papers dealing with: the main elements of natural ventilation research; the fundamental equations, driving forces and associated factors; the design and utilisation of windows, purpose provided openings, passive stacks and advances natural systems, with any design guidance where applicable; and case studies showing where such systems can be effectively installed, e.g. industrial buildings and libraries.

BIB 02: An annotated bibliography: garage ventilation

The bibliography summarises research into the health, energy and design aspects of the various systems used in garage ventilation. It contains the main problems associated with car parks, research into naturally ventilated garages, research into large scale bus and hanger type garages, and small scale car park problems and solutions.

TN 4: Instrumentation for the measurement of air infiltration - an annotated bibliography

An annotated bibliography containing 89 references to papers selected from the AIC's library and intended to be selective rather than comprehensive. Includes references only to papers entirely or substantially concerned with instrumentation of containing information about a particular measurement technique. References are divided into three sections according to subject: tracer gas methods, pressure tests, and other associated techniques such as thermography and acoustic detection of leakage paths.(Out of Print)
