This paper presents the building and HVAC parameters and discusses checklists developed for obtaining these parameters in the field. The checklists or forms, along with the instructions for completing the checklists, are divided into four areas, Whole Building Description, Test Space Description, HVAC System Description, and HVAC System Performance. The Whole Building Description checklists provide a description of the basic features of the building being studied. The Test Space Description checklists are used to obtain more detailed information on the test space within the building.
