Discusses a number of ventilation case studies for detached houses and apartment buildings, and presents existing computer programs for single-cell and multi-cell models. Discusses the effectiveness and implementation of energy conservation measures with respect to the state of existing building stock and expected new building work. Describes design solutions in the form of reduced air change rates and systems for energy recovery.
