LoginFree Cooling is a mode of operation of a mechanical ventilation system to remove excess heat from office rooms during summer nights. A case study demonstrates, that free cooling can be quite effectiv and consumes a comparatively small amount of energy. Computer simulations give insight into the physical mechanisms and allow parametric variations.
