LoginLaboratory measurements of a ventilated ceiling in a mock-up kitchen are presented in that paper. The use of the capture jet concept improves significantly the contaminant removal efficiency in so far as the capture jet air is supplied horizontally across the ceiling and helps to direct heat and air contaminants towards the exhaust.
