Active thermography helps to evaluate existing components under realistic climate scenarios. The findings can be used, for instance, to evaluate the storage capacity, phase shifts etc. Active thermography, for instance, allows for realistic assessments of a building’s heat protection during summer time. It also allows for more accurate analyses of thermal bridges in view of climate change.
Purpose of the work
Does active thermography allow realistic analyses of structural designs?
Content of the contribution
Measurement process and findings.
Results and assessment of their significance
Components can be analyzed under non-stationary climate scenarios by using active thermography.
Conclusions
Active thermography helps to evaluate existing components under realistic climate scenarios.
