Reviews literature and presents annotated bibliographies for indoor air quality, indoor air pollution health effects and residential air infiltration. Analyzes air infiltration data, and describes factors related to the house itself, the behaviour of residents and the microenvironment surrounding thehouse. Discusses future trends of infiltration rates. Investigates the relationship between indoor and outdoor pollutants and their relative contributions to indoor air quality, and constructs a matrix which combines the indoor-outdoor relationships with changes in infiltration rates and different types of pollutants. Gives recommendations for future research and development concerning indoor air quality.
